OUR HISTORY

OUR HISTORY

A group of Medical Doctors and Hospital Chief Operating Officer in the Orlando Health Community were able to see the direct impact of the nursing and medical assistant shortage during the covid pandemic. In addition, the Nursing and Medical Assistant staff are aging and thus, the current shortage will only increase if new staff are not educated and allowed to enter the healthcare work environment. Therefore, the new Orlando School of Nursing was created to educate more qualified healthcare workers. Our mission statement is to serve Orlando and other neighboring communities by providing quality, compassionate and affordable healthcare education.
